Ok, so I haven't kept track of the franchise for a while, and I finally noticed this after seeing a CNN report this morning about Christian Bale going off on one of the crew. :P I kept hearing rumors for years that this was coming, and I'm actually happy there's a new film.

I've been geeking out over this for the past few hours. If nothing else, it's at least an excuse to start watching the other movies again. The trailers do have an odd feel to them, but I suppose that's because it's a new take on things. So far, I'm fairly impressed.

Yeah, there's a part of me that says "Hey, the guy is human", but the other part of me says there's no excuse for THAT kind of behavior. I literally in my 29 years have NEVER gone off like that on anyone.

If he was venting for like a minute or thirty seconds I might understand, but more than that?

Anyway, as for the movie... The first two are classics but the third one was a letdown. This one looks like it has the potential to be very good but I won't hold my breath or get my hopes up too high.

Oh definitely. You're preachin' to the choir on this one.

I can't really say I have a position on this after hearing the full rant. Apparently, the Director of Photography had stepped into the scene more than once, and it was getting on Bale's nerves. Then again, that's going by what he's actually saying, which could mean it was as little as two times. Still, that doesn't reflect well on....anyone.

I've never gone off like that on anyone, but I know of some that'd deserve it. :P

Yes, I certainly agree on how the first three turned out. Really, my troubles with the third are more in the details than the story as a whole. This is the one I've been waiting for, though, so it's even more special for that. I've been looking forward to this since T2. It looks like the earlier stages of the future war, so a lot of the different look doesn't bother me. Also, for the record, I think "this is not the future my mother warned me about" is screenwriter CYA. XD In a way, I'm kind of sad about there being a fourth, because it'll likely end a dynasty of sorts. That being the appearance of Dr. Silberman, as I think he'll be one of the casulties of the nuclear exchange or Judgement Day. I had always found him entertaining.

"In technical terms, he's a loon!" :D
