I have a strange problem.
Whenever I download any custom Lightsabre texture, i put the tga in the mesh folder and set it up to be in the odfs and all that jazz, and then I munge. But heres the thing. At the end of the munge, the mungelog comes up, and it says "targa type ten (or something like that) not supported." and then doesnt work. and it says "errors" not "warnings" so it crashes the game.
Any idea why?

you have to uncheck "RLE-compression" when saving a texture for battlefront

when you save the texture as tga

I'm famous! Anyway, I guess I must have left RLE compression off on one of the textures. Open it with GIMP, then do save as and when a little box comes up with a tick on RLE-Compression, click on it to turn it off then press save. BTW, I wouldn't use those sabers if I where you, I only spent about 2 mins makings them was I was a nub.

open it with gimp,
click "save as"
then a box sould appear, that askes you about RLE-compression and something like origin, uncheck the RLE-compresion and you are done

EDIT: dang, hamster was faster
