modder can probably do this in like 1 minute (I think). Can somebody please make a Death Star central shaft
without the "roof"/cover on the top? According to some sources, all you have to do is convert it and edit it in XSI
or other Object Mod Tool editor. If someone can do this for me, then that would help me soooo much. The central shaft
is like the most essential part of my map and if I can't get it then I will be unable to continue my map .
Please help me!!!!!!!
I'm not promising anything, but it
does sound like a quick job....which is the Death Star central shaft you're talking about, the firing tube or that one outside the prison cells with the circular platform in the center?
I'm talking about the one that has the small circular platform in the middle.
You want it without any roof? If I remember correctly, I turned on jetpacks via FC and flew right out through the top on the shipped map. It doesn't seem to have any collision up there. Why do you want no roof on it?
oh, if theres no collision all try it with the roof (if you view the msh file in msh viewer there's like a black roof)
i dont want a roof on it cause i need to connect multiple central-shafts (hehe yeah im crazy

)

I need somethings for Battlefront Zero, out of the Convo Pack Heroes side.. It would be a pain to download the whole thing, just for these assets.
Could someone please zip up the Force Bubble/Force Water Orb (watch it: msh, effect and odf files), the Force Wave and the Electric Judgement files please? Thanks a lot.. If you could pm it, and post below here you pm'ed me that would be really great!

After problems with the hex edited things on the Galactic Marines, could someone whos talented with xsi add this things to Galactic Marines
Galactic Marine sniper with a visor down.
Galactic Marine heavy with backpack.
Galactic Marine commander with pauldron.
Galactic Marine general with pauldron and visor up.
I'm sure this wont take that long for a xsi pro.

And I dont want them as addon meshes. hehe

Why do you not want them as addonmeshes? asaid from the fact that the last one can't be done with addonmesh, all of those are simply done and take little to no time if you use an addonmesh.

i agree addon meshes are much more versatile and allows more mixing and matching and requires a lot less hex edited models to be made

Well I dont't wanted them as addon meshed, becaue I read that you can add only 2 addon meshes to an odf, but I guess this is wrong..

Anyone willing to convert some Sketchup Models for me in the near future? If so, please PM me and I'll show you some pics of them and send a download link if they so choose to convert them. I'll learn if no one wants to, I'll learn how to, but it would be a big help if someone could do it for me.

I believe its only one, but 3 of your 4 units only use 1 needed addonmesh, so thats not a problem.

But when you can add only 1 addon mesh to and odf, how to make the 4. unit?

Hey guys,
Could someone give me the exact lines of the .hud file, so i can fix a FLOATING ICON from a lightsaber hilt? I'm sure it has been done before. Any other custom melee weapon line is also fine i guess

@manderek look in data_abc/common/hud/1player.hud and search for lightsaber there are the numbers you need

Not really, there is my custom hud with all icons fixed.. Also, no lightsaber hilt was covered, since it used an icon.. So, has someone every 'fixed' a floating melee-weapon-icon before?

Here are the coordinates of the ryyk blade, melee weapon:
Code: Select all
Position(-0.169723, 0.363485, 0.003263, "Viewport")
Rotation(1.538445, 95.690582, 4.455857)
Scale(0.700000, 0.700000, 0.700000)

well i dont know how the coordinates are created (they are different for every model) but if you would usre these coordinates, the lightsaber would be horizontal instead of vertical

In-game they're normally horizontal.

That really made no sense to me, sorry. Thanks AQT, i'll try them, and if indeed horizontal try rotate them another 90degrees!

I'll let you know
