i try to release a betaversion from the map today or tomorrow.
me and challanger worked on this map, we try to make a kashyyyk map like the movie, maby biger then in the movie, but you can walk above the trees if you need it or not, you have a lot walkways up the trees and to another tree. there are many plattforms and you have to walk a lot of time to reach the othere trees.
i used the kashyyyk roppers von majin and doofi
thinks that needed and i dont placed in the beta.
different units for the rep
same for the cis
speederbikes and staps
dome models
maybe rain or fog
maybe a few more vehicles
more work on the terrain and the textures
fell free to tell us, what whant in the final, but i dont know if we add this.

I'd suggest that you don't inlcude rain or fog. This map appears to be pretty big and I'm only afraid that the addition of rain or fog may make it a little laggy. Maybe just some lightning instead?

True, rain would make it really hard. I am sad that there is not Jet Trooper, oh well.

i knwo, i wrote maybe.
i tested 2-3 days, before the map worked with water.
and yes, no yet trooper, they are to overpowered for the map.

That map was a lagfest on my really good computer.

I'll have to try agian later, maybe I had another program running.

Well the map didn't lag for me at all. This could probably be the best Kashyyk map in terms of scale, however it seemed that there is a lot of area to cover and I think more troops are needed to cover more ground for some epic battles. I really like the layout of the map too, though one spawn point had me going down a lot of levels, maybe too many. Perhaps CP's could be placed more close to the battle area. This is a nice beta release, though and I'm looking forward to the final.

Problems for me:
-No English Localization (ie [NULL] and Common.Respawn)
-Command Keys (F1-4) Shut Off Game
Is anyone else having these problems, or should I re-download it?

Yeah, I did too.
But besides that, this map was insane. It felt exactly like the movies. Really, this how Kashyyyk should have been. I can't wait for the final release.

For some reason when I played, It was way too much for my graphics card and I crashed. I had EVERY SINGLE SETTING AT IT'S LOWEST and down it goes, against all odds. . .

Must be a rare glitch

I think the map just crashes in general. Mine did it and I still ran the game at a good 40-60 FPS with a midddle of the road PC.

My computer never crashed, although I suppose that might be because it's an Alienware... hmmm... Anywho, the map has endles potential. The aesthetics are awesome, and really capture the Star Wars spirit.
If it's cleaned up a little, this map could be pure gold. As it is now, it is pretty impressive: Epic size and design, cool units and proper vehicles... but there is the huge matters of bugs to attend to.
DISAPPEARING TREES:
becomes...
MISSING TEXT:
I don't even know HOW that happened. I mean, I can understand units and vehicles being labeled 0x, but EVERYTHING is bugged! Even the game's
menu is illegible.
RANDOM TEXTURE SMEARING:
This is a minor problem. Sometimes a texture(usually a large one) will smear all over a piece terrain instead of meshing with the others and begins to jitter. Only really noticable if you're realllllllly picky, to be honest.
All I can say is, KEEP AT IT! You have an awesome map here. I'm looking forward to the final.

About the [NULL] bit, I think it's a random glitch while mungeing a map.
