Hey guys,
I've been playing red faction guerrilla for a long time now and for some reason I only came to notice that the game is OPPOSITE of LAG. It runs so fast (not fast as in good, fast as in motion). I tried this-

But I never get a Direct X version option anyway.
The only other option is to hack into the game by using cheat engine but why would I do that.
Anyone else running RFG on windows 7?

Well, as long as it is just for making the game function properly, I don't think there's any hassle in hacking it, seems like a viable alternative to me; stay sharp though, I was reading a thread about this issue in the Steam user forums and some guy there detected a virus, could be a false alarm, but who knows.Lozza wrote:The only other option is to hack into the game by using cheat engine but why would I do that.
I'm surprised there isn't a patch out yet, what the heck are these guys waiting for?

The only problem about the hack is that if I hack my speed, it wont hack my enemies speed. So I'm running away at 3 kms an hour with enemies running after me at 50 km.

Did you try putting your settings up so high that it actually lags? (but not enough to make it un-playable) Red Faction Guerrilla doesn't actually support Win 7, so that's where your issue is coming in. (it is a rather lousy port as well)
