I darkened the terrain, how is it?

The map is definitely improving. I'd recommend burning the terrain (applies the lighting to the terrain - better than trying to darken it manually). Also, it'd be a good idea to adjust the fog settings in your .sky file to fit the lighting colors better. The gray fog with the red lighting doesn't look quite right. This is especially evident in the picture looking up toward the Acclamator a few posts back.

Overall, your showing some great progress. Keep up the good work.

If your adding the bugs you could always reskin them so they look better, also how about some airpower? the map looks very nice all its missing is a few droid fighers to keep you on your toes and a few gunships to help with getting arround the battlefield. Also I didn't see any vehicles, maybe that was your intention but I generally find that vehicles add that critical "woop [diet dr.pepper]" aspect to all maps.
p.s. if you are going to follow through on my airpower advice, i would suggest either getting rid of rocket launchers or modifiing the AI to not home on aircraft because there is nothing more annoying then having to dodge missles in an airbattle were there is not enough room to really maneuver.

actually, in the beginning i had fliers, but they would spin around like drunks and slam into spires,

forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=20593 <-- it was a mess

ATTENTION: Opinion Beta Now opening!

I am going to be busy with school for the next few weeks, (only able to work on it on weekends) and am releasing a Beta to gather opinions and suggestions on the map, and to locate bugs, such as planning, barriers, and floating objects. (please post pics of bad objects)

Notes:

I will not add Rep vehicles,
I will not add fliers,
No sides suggestions please,
I will take suggestions on heroes ( don't have any ATM)

I will include a credits list in the primary release. (is that against the rules??)

enjoy! :D :clone:

Sorry, I don't have very much to say... But I'll tell you what there is to say about it. There's a floating object near a low-to-the-ground ridge cp and please reskin the DS blast doors to either look dirty, or look like they're made of solid rock.

Oh, I forgot to say your Clone Troopers look green.

EDIT: I just thought I need to tell you this so.... Your crashed gunship cp was the only one of the billions of crashed gunship cps that felt like you were a survivore of the crash... Kinda like (is Republic Commando the game that does that on Geonosis?).

RC is on Geonosis, but you never crash BTW,

which crashed gunship CP are you reffering to? the one on the landing pad by the spire or the one in the canyon? (my favorite :D )

i will try to fix the green dust on the troopers...

I think it's the on in the canyon, because it's not by the command spire.
