How do you change sky and lighting?

I couldn't find a tutorial on this, and Im sure there is one, but can someone tell me how to do this? I want it to be a night sky that you can see all the way across the battlefield. How do you do this? Thanks!

go into your world1 folder. its under BF2_Modtools/data_***/worlds/***. open it and find the file called ***.SKY. open it using notepad or word and go to the bottom of the file. you'll see stuff about the sky texture. after movign the correct sky tga's from the assets into your world1 folder, change it to what you want. I suggest the Naboo sky for nighttime, but thats just me. i think* this is how you do it, im testing it as I type :lol:

edit: odd. i tested it, and it didnt change. now i is confused. anyone else want to jump in?

2nd edit: hmmm...i got the sky to change...but it went all black. anyone know what the problem might be?

Lighting is changed in ZE.

Open ze, and open the right layer.
Go to the light box and on the right there will be 2 sets of 3 numbers. Fool around with these 2 get a result. When you are done, go to image, which you can find in ze close to the x to exit, and click on that, burn terrain, munge and voila!

OFF TOPIC: How exactly do you add the anakin starfighter thingy? I did the vehicle spawns, called them up in the lua, and added setmemorypoolsize("groundflyer", 10) to my script. What am I missing of doing wrong?

Did you fill in the needed info in the vehicle spawn objects?

I think the sky was black cause you're missing the stars tga.

wow. You need to add something to the .lua for space vehilces to work? No wonder. What do I add if I want a bunch of tie interceptor and some trifigheters?

You cite their odf under the proper side. I have never messed around with the memory pool thing, so I don't knwo why you need that for your fighters. I just cite them, and wala.

Woner is right. You add them just like you would any other vehicle spawn
