Changing unit names...?

Hi. If you don't understand the title, I am asking about how to make a unit's name change both for AI AND in the menu for selecting units, like the normal clone trooper, heavy trooper, sharpshooter...ect. Is this done with localizing? If so, please give me a brief explanation/tutorial or a link. Thanks.

Add this to the inf odf
Label = "Choo Choo Train Trooper"
Doing that renames the infantry ingame so that it says Choo Choo Train Trooper. I'm not sure but I think you have to localize :?

This is a video but I'll explain.

Step 1: Go to Bf2modtools/ data_***/ then click "Editlocalize" (***= name of map) (edit localize is a gear icon thing)
Step 2: Let it load and a window will pop up.
Step 3: to change the units name go to "entity" and then all the sides will come down
step 4: choose a side
step 5 choose a unit turret vehicle etc
step 6 Save
step 7 after saving go to munge and check localize. then click munge
step8 Play Game

hope it helps
:D

And don't try to close it down while it's saving. You may think it's frozen but you just need to wait a minute or two.

Ok, that's good. Do you guys know how to make the names for individual units change? Like Alpha 332, Gamma 935, ect. are the ingame names for the units. How can I change this?

Start doing what's been said. They've already told you what to do.

As soon as you open it, you should be able to understand what to do. And if you don't, I'm afraid you'll never actually understand it...

There is a 2 minute short video-tutorial on Filefront under SWBF2 Files somewhere  Take a look there. (I'm not gonna post a link, mainly to see if this kid is 'serious' enough to go there him-/herself  )
it's actually pretty easy to understand, and I think it explains everything without yo have to read
