Ok, so for 3 different maps, including a new one I just freshly munged and copied the sides I was making over to, all 3 have mysteriously crashed instantly to desktop when I start to load the map. It never hits the load screen.

The only thing the bf2 log errors say is a small list here:

Is it an error on the sides? I can't figure it out.

So by never hitting the load screen you are talking no Red loading dots, does it just stop at a grey oval kind of symbol or not even that far and it CTD's. If it has a little grey looking box in the bottom left that is usually a Fatal Can't find error, which if the screen was to just freeze you could ALT Tab to see the error box in behind.

If it is an immediate CTD then it still could be the same thing you computer is just really not liking it and dumping out of the error mode immediately.

No red dots, no loading image, no error box that normally accompanies a freeze like that.

And I have also tried removing some zombies from the lua to lighten the load, no change.

Knowing what the maps are saying try running it without custom sides would be a totally useless thing to say so I won't. Can you still run other maps? Can you run one of your maps if you removed the other 2 from the addon?

You might want to re-install SWBF2. Before you do, cut the addon folder and paste it somewhere so you still have your work.

Lol... I know that would work but I'd like Frag's opinion on what might of caused this to begin with. Swbf2 just suddenly decides to make one of my maps stop working, with a version of the sides I had moved into the map, and then 2 days later as I make different versions of that same side in a seperate map, it decides to stop working, and then the new map I make and transport sides into stops working, along with all the other maps, without a reason?

In all seriousness, can anyone tell me what went wrong with my game? I don't want to have to reinstall until I know it can be solved in some manner.

-Edit: Apparently restarting my pc has fixed it entirely. WEIRD.

Any virus scan results? This is indeed bizarre.

It may be related to my 2ndary hard drive. I had started it up with the pc, and it might of screwed something up in swbf2, but never has happened before..
