GREAT skins!
Just my thoughts - the senate commando looks a bit too shiny (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Sen ... mand02.jpg)
the nova trooper is far better than mine, though the pauldron gold part looks a bit weird (maybe its just me lol)

Labj, I used to dislike your skins. The last two there, however, have reformed me.

Well, i was going to make the SC less shiney, but i didnt really liked, so i made it shiney, using the levels tool.ArkAngel wrote:GREAT skins!

And about the pauldron, it looks a bit odd for me too, i need to modify the HD pauldron skin, and make it smoother.

Which program are you using to make these skins? I use Gimp, but I can't make anything as good as that!

It does not depend on the program youre using, but on the user(theoretically you could even do things like that with MS Paint...).

@Labj:
recently your skins are exactly that what I think of if I hear "HD" and "Battlefront 2".
Awesome job mate.

Andeweget is right, except that last part would seem rather difficultANDEWEGET wrote:It does not depend on the program youre using, but on the user(theoretically you could even do things like that with MS Paint...).

The texture looks nice but I give a thumbs down on the backwards(?) helmet geometry, you should take this opportunity to build a somewhat accurate looking helmet in XSI since a texture alone does not change the shape.Labj wrote:Blue Senate commando:

Re: Glamour Skins, Seriously, 8?
Say now! Thats very good color on the body for the senate guard or commando, what ever they are. Nice Ace. Labj, yours is good too in your own way, thought it appears too be a metalic like surface. Reminds me of my 1st weeks of skinning.
Thought the detail on the helmet is very nice and creative. Good job Labj

If something's dark enough to fool people into thinking it's a Paint job, you may want to consider lightening it up just a tad and letting a bit more detail through, or using a detail mask or something.
