Don't give up yet, I'm gonna test it with the BF2 animation i ported from my mod (a two-handed gripped pistol animation by DarthD.O.C.K)

Another idea, have you tried scaling the model?

Mav's Dark Times mod features it and it is aligned.
Keyword is released. If it was released, then I would have linked it to you, as mentioned earlier. And you are only citing one mod: a mod developed by a well-versed person who is very much capable of fixing such an alignment error. Why don't you cite the other mods and maps you claimed to have to seen it in?

Not really, no. It still floats outside of the unit's hand.
Well, it's a whole lot less noticeable compared to the marksman screenshot you posted some posts ago.

Forget about guys, I'll find an alternative model to use.
Guys, please - this is about a five-minute fix. There's no reason to jump over anyone for this.

And Ty - this is about a five-minute fix. There's no reason you couldn't simply make the adjustment in XSI yourself.

Ballyhoo aside, if it's that big a deal, you could just ask for the fix. It's a Pandemic asset, I only made a small fix to it, and I don't have a problem sharing tiny fixes:

Was a proper lightsaber model for Darth Sidious ever released? I could have sworn I saw one someplace, but I can't find it. Thanks in advance.

There are some in Sky's first model pack: http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.co ... k_1;106813
If these aren't the ones you are searching, I think I've got the other ones, I have to search.

Yes, AQT showed me Naru's old untextured model, I haven't gotten a chance to talk to Naru about it.

The best Darth Sidious saber hilt i've seen was released HERE by Revan Dark for Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy about 7 years ago.

2085 triangles is a bit much for a SWBF2 weapon model since such detail will not be seen, you could retopo this weapon and cut the triangles by two thirds though.
Noesis can convert *.glm to a common exchange format like *.obj and it should only take 5 minutes to convert that to a game-ready *.msh file using Softimage Mod Tool 7.5 with XSI ZETools, but you'll need to adhere to our copyright policy if you intend to use it publicly.

I'll definitely look into that, thanks a ton Ace. 2000 tri is low enough in my book, I'm pretty lax when it comes to lightsaber hilts. Most of the ones I use are in the 1200-2000 tri range anyway. And as always I'll follow the copyright rules.

Does anyone have the convopack gametoast side, since megaupload has been annihilated? Also, does anyone know which of the assets has the jedi with two lightsabers (not a double-saber) from the order 66 mode? It looks like Aayla's combo, but it's a little different. Thanks!
