Can someone post a few schematic drawings of weapons like that rifle that I did? I want to model a few new weapons but I can't do anything really complex, and I can't read sloppy drawings, which is why they need to be schematics instead of little casual side-views drawn without a ruler. Searching the internet yields only complex schematics for marine rifles and Halo weaponry that I have no where near enough skill to make.

I'm not sure whether this fits the category but can you make this?

What
is it? If you have it in MSH Viewer you have an MSH...right?

It's a GIMPbash. He took three images of models and put them together by screenshotting them, and based on the accuracy of the connections, presumably used GIMP to put the images together.

Ah. Well, AQT, if you'll tell me which models you used I'll presumably be able to do the same in XSI. Is that what they call a Kitbash, if you grab parts off stock models and put them together in XSI?

Yep, Fluffy is right. It's suppose to be an assault cannon made up off: Pahricida's DC-15A for back part, the stock chaingun for the front, and the Imperial rocket launcher for the bottom barrel.

That seems right. I've only seen Ace and Mav use that term before.

Is it possible to make a jet pack as an addon mesh?
If it is .. it would be nice if someone can make all original jetpakcs as addon meshes
Can someone make a Lurmen model?

It IS possible to make a jetpack an addon msh, but it'll dissappear when you jet jump.

DarthD.U.C.K. made addons out of stock jetpacks awhile ago which can be found here:

Take into consideration what Fluffy said.

Sure thing.
@AQT - Would you like a second hp_fire null at the lower barrel as well as at the top, so that you can make the top barrel a primary weapon and the lower a secondary?

For the dual-barrel assembly: hp_fire1 is for the top, hp_fire2 is for the bottom.
For the single-barrel: hp_fire.
They have a few issues, mainly because I didn't notice them until after I uploaded them. XSI is very sneaky about these sort of things. A few parts ot the models are transparent. If you can get over that, great, use them.
One more thing: I'm officially calling them "modelbashes." It makes more sense than kitbash.
The models.

try to triangulate the invisible polygons, that solves the problem if they are not too small
