why i played bespin platforms i heard this weird sound, and it was coming from the game. it doesn't have nividia.

Does it sound like pink noise at a high pitch which quickly shifts down to a low pitch, all in about one second, sort of like a flyby of a TIE Fighter?

i doubt that it has to do with a eeepc especially. sometimes when i play space or there are explosions around the game plays a really unenjoyable sound resembling something breaking apart/collapsing far too loud that has no connection to the current gameplay.

Could the sound have to do with the sound card, because it only did this yesterday?

well what do i do?, i already uninstaled it bescause i thought there was a problem.

I have this problem too, but I don't think it's because of the sound card. I have the Asus Xonar DX.
I bought it because with my onboard VIA sound, I couldn't hear the announcements like "we've captured a command post" etc...
