Well, wouldn't it be kinda pointless with the camaflauge, because if you're just going to change it to blue and red. Just something i noticed.

Blue and red camoflauge wouldn't be very useful if the game looked the way it did. But, it would look pretty cool.

Okay, i have just played the map, and Darth you already know some of the flaws in it that i told you about, but there are a few others i forgot to tell you. First of all, a lot of objects, you can just walk right through (which i might have already told you), and second, the boundry issue. If you think about it, every single map that came with the game had either some sort of wall around it, or trees, or even just air, that if you ran off the edge of a platform you would fall and die (as in mygeeto) But, most of every custom map that i have seen, has no boundries. Maybe instead of having no boundries like those other maps, you could put a large, somewhat destroyed and crumbled wall, surrounding the map. That will keep the AI units in, and the humans too.

Hey that's a cool idea the crumbling wall thing. Hmm... Maybe I can dust off XSI and try it out. As for the boundaries; I have no idea how to make them.

Well, see you don't need to make the boundries because the wall WILL be your boundry. All you have to do is build the wall around your map, and you have a boundry, problem solved.

I played it and it looked really good. The secernery was good but when I played it, the AI just stood around. Just a sugestion, maybe you could find a way to make it so that there were paintballs where ever you shot.

Ya I need to figure that out. As for XSI... there is no way I'll ever be able to model. The program absolutely hates me. It crashed when I tried to save. If anybody could donate a simple crumbling wall or knows where I could get one that would be great.

Oh thanks for reminding me SWSOE1. When you shoot and the paintball hits something, you only hear the sound, you don't seethe explosion.

Hmm, This seems interesting. I would opportune to test as well. And to give my two cents, add lots of those Barriers and rocks to duck behind and shoot from like in a real Paintball/Airsoft arena.

Which brings me to another opinion, I think that there should be some more objects to hide behind because, i didn't notice all too many. But, just another crazy suggestion. :)

Well, when I started the map I was expecting a paintball game. Instead I played a nice old 1 Flag CTF. The bots there just ran into the shields so I was the only one able to get points...?
When I tried the second mode it got even weirder. No bot spawned at all. So I couldn't reduce the points of the enemy. And when I killed myself my own points didn't drop. I don't know what you did there but it sure was weird.
Now the third one wich is most likley the one I was supposed to test. ^^
First thing I noticed that the black guys and the blue guys seemed to be in the same team. But then I relized that you just didn't paint the commandos yet.
Secondly: The blue guys are black from afar. Remember what you did to the .msh files? You need to do the same to the low1.msh files.
Third: No one spawns at one of the cps. You should fix that!
Fourth: The classes don't have names. You can name them in editlocalize.bat!
Fifth: I think it's almost too easy for the commando. I would reduce the speed that he fires at, the damage he does or the ammount of ammo until he needs to reload.
Sixth: The arms of the commander are still this roseish red. And the commando has no arms at all.
Seventh: You should use more textures. Only the Mygeeto one is a bit boring.
That's all I remember now.
I think until now you have done a great job. But you've got a lot of work still ahead of you.

Hope you test my map too once I'm ready. :wink:

@ Pi314, 1. Planning is an issue but I don't know how to (I'm ashamed of that).
2. Oh ya, I forgot about that.
3. In CTF or Assault? They spawn for me.
4. They do but only in English. I haven't localized any other language yet.
5. Ya he's like the Terminator :D .
6. :? Roseish red? Where?
7. Ya will do.

GCW CTF is messed and will never, ever be used. I forgot about that.

EDIT: I will most definately test your map!

ATTENTION

To everybody who wants to be a beta tester: I might choose a couple more after I get the AI and planning done. Right now I just wanted to get some ideas and suggestions as well as floating object problems ETC.
