Hopefully I should have all the battlefront 1 maps, mappacks and official releases from Filefront completed by tomorrow apart from the editing that needs to be done using the above lists. Unfortunately I can't edit them myself due to the above issue with all files being created by jaspo.

I deleted the ones on the bottom list and I will edit this once I have put the information into the ones on the top list. Thanks for the compilation.

edit: ok, so those ones aren't on filefront. I see. Although, there is a

Rhen Var Ice Gate (1.1)

on filefront. I don't know if that's the same version though.

Also, vyse's hyrule is swbf1. must be a conversion.

ok. i removed the faq from main menu, removed NEWS from top menu , added a new registration moldule to kill russian and other spammers. Captcha etc.. have it enabled just need to toss the old com_user so all new sign ups use it, willbe way more professional looking. Other then that I tossed like 55 fake .ru accounts so i want to stop the russian BS, no big deal since they never actually login or spam but still.

how many more files are there to be uploaded to have ALL KNOWN swbf 1 and 2 and all filefront files related to swbf and what we do here. I would like to know some sort of reference like, guru we need 10 more gigs for and a little more for updating then we are all set! We have room I just want to know how we are doing in the "every file for swbf1 and 2 and filefront is no longer required" status.

I tried all those security image things on my forum to get rid of spam bots to no avail. Spam bots now know how to get around that stuff too.
Here's what I did to my forum. I added a field in the registration form that the spam bots can't answer and then made it a required field. You can make it a question that only someone who is really interested in registering would answer, or it could be something simple like "How many letters are in the word Guru?". Spam bots follow a script that fills out all the fields that are standard, so as soon as you make your form non-standard, they fail. It stopped 100% of my 'fake' registrations.

yea i just needed time to get in here and activate the new registration app, its up , no spam, all good. I removed the default register app , now all people signing up have to either click , fill in , accept terms and listen to a recording and write what they heard , issue solved! it uses keys and checks ips from a list of banned peeps. love open source.

do we agree the spam/register issue is resolved? I havent heard anything bad since I added the new registration module.

As you see I added 1 google ad to the bottom of the forums, way out of peoples way, they can decide to support the site and click or use spam pop up blockers and hurt the site and its offerings. I will make them look more like each layout soon. Feel free to post your true thoughts on the google ads. I dont want to request donations every month and I know we wont always have great donations like we had to get the site moved to its new server all the time so ads can help alot if people support us by visiting sponsors.

I set uploads to 100mb cap. I have not seen any uploads over 50 mb for a week. If we need more I can reset it back to 900mb or any number but for now I want to monitor the usage and space we need and go from there.

If there is anything else not running properly please let me know. All in all i only hear a few issues like "I think the downloads area is fugly" and such.

I'm still seeing random logouts of the system. I'm not so sure it's session related now, as sometimes it happens while I'm actively browsing the site. I get logged out at least once a day bare minimum.

Other than that I'd just like to see the color scheme for the main site match the forums. The main site has a more bluish tone to it while the forum has the grey hues.

Tean, how many many minutes do you usually notice a logout ,when it does occur? like 15 minutes? how much idle time or how much logged in time, that way i can see if its sessions, php or joomla being a username/login villain.

yea I move themes and styles sometimes so I guess I dont see that not everything matches the main page.

Thats probably not an accurate number, but a good estimate.

I usually get logged out if I sit idle on GT for a while. Going to the home page, refreshing, then returning to forums usually fixes it, but not always.

@ Guru -- there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. If there's any connection it seems to be that I'm logged in for a grand total of [x] time before I'm logged out. I'll try to follow it a bit closer.

It doesn't log me out until I visit the home page. Then, when I go back to the forums, I'm logged out.

And also, it seems GT keeps logging me out automatically several times a day (Site & Forums alike). And I'm also getting the auto logout.
