HELP! I can't get any of my created textures to work in ZE. I load them up, but all it comes up with is a blank (white) texture

. If I load up one of the textures I havn't made,ie from the assets folder, it works perfectly. I tried copying the .tga file into the same folder as the other textures (can't remember what this is right now) and I can't see any reason for this problem

, but maybe you could help. Also, how do you skin objects?

When you save the texture there must be 3 things made sure of:
1: It's a .tga file.
2: You uncheck RLE compression.
3: There is no 3.

What are you using? a good program you could use is GIMP or you could use any other program and use a converter to make it a .tga

There's your problem. You haven't been saving as .tga. No tga=no worky, arrgh.
Sorry, there is a 3. 1: Make sure the dimensions are noth powers of 2 (256x256,512x512,1024x1024,64x64) 2: Save it as a .tga in the right folder (every new GIMP window, choose save as and overwrite the old one), and 3: uncheck RLE compression.

EDIT: aha! I downloaded GIMP and used it instead of photofiltre and it worked perfectly (hehehe hippo texture...)

no i had been, just i hadnt done the 256x256 512x512 thing.
OK. now i have a different and stranger problem. i browse to my .tga file, and now i can use it in the map and it doesn't show up blank like before. The only thing is it shows up a wierd different textyre. as a test i did a plain orange texture, to see if it worked, and it came out in ZE as this
arrgh!!
