Not a map thats gonna be my favorite, but a fun map that I enjoyed playing. If I was to change anything, it would be Lukes lightsaber color, just for continuity. But it didnt bother me.

Why had this thread been locked before?
anyways, the map looks fun.

Yeah... I got that twice now about saber color... I just stole it from the demo Jedi file that came with the mod tools... I could change it though for the next version...

Pretty nice map. I like that the sand people and the jawas are one there. At times it almost feels like a free-for-all.
Only a few things I found so far...
- Multiplayer crashed for me right on startup (after the loading screen)
- AI got caught behind boxes in CTF.
- Just a personal preference, but it seems just slightly too spread out for me.

tat luke's pretty cool (you should change his saber color tho), and the map is pretty well made, but its too big for an inf only map. my suggestion: either add speeder bikes or decrease the distance between cp's

I'm working on a new version already... I fixed Luke's saber (I took away the double-edged saber too, for consistency) I'll also be improving AI and adding a new game mode or two...
Never tried it in multiplayer... hmmm... I'll have to look into that...
I peresonnally don't think the map would really work as well if I moved the CPs closer... There is a LOT to see in the map, and a LOT of secret hiding/sniping spots...

yeah, that's why i think you need a different way to get between cps quickly, like speeders or an animal...i think there was a desert version of a tauntaun called a cu-pa, which could probably work as a reskin. idk, just throwing that out there...the desert skiff from bf1 would work great too....

I'm actually hoping I can find someone to build me a Bantha model... How freakin cool would that be?

Actually, thanks to
this file, we know what the "
skeletal structure" of a
playable character is, contrary to
Non-
Player
Characters', such as local animals...
So, designing a "
Bantha model" might not be possible, but it's not lost beforehand, as the bones of
both players' and locals' meshes
must have common labels...

This is actually one of my top three non battlefront 1 shipped maps(i count
swbf2 mod maps, battlefront one mod maps in my rankings.)
I like it as much as corescenat city, and mos varniel, probley even better
than those two.
Speeders would be nice, but although it is a biggish map, The cps are
close enough together for a lot of fighting and capturing.
Great job on map, i like it more than the lucasarts made dune sea.

Actually a Bantha wouldn't be a non-playable character, it would be a 4-legged walker... It would spawn like a vehicle and would be rideable... (like the Tauntauns)

Off-topic : plokoon', be sure a similar level for Star Wars Battlefront II cannot be updated in only one day... Moreover, if I were you, I would stop being so injunctive and unfriendly, since many other GameToast members might not tolerate such a behavior in the future...

Off-topic : Read your previous message more attentively, plokoon', and you will understand the reason of this remark...

You may not mean it but to others the way you wrote it sounds hatful.
