did anybody say you should make another folder within Worlds\XXX\ and put the files in folders there?
trying out new things is always nice but for tasks as basic as adding source files of a new object you shouldn't try any experiments.

Ok, I moved the effects/msh/odf folders to C:\BF2_ModTools\data_***\Worlds\***. Still nothing. Here is the Bfront2.log again:

Any ideas?

EDIT: I tried a visualmunge clean, and the map C.T.D.. Here is an error in the Bfront2.log I found suspicious:

does you log contain the first two errors or the third error you posted?

make sure you have the "com_bldg_controlzone_large.msh" in your data_XXX\Worlds\XXX\msh\ folder.

It is, both MSH and MSH.OPTION files are in the MSH folder

just wondering, do CP's need textures? also does it show up in ZE? and make sure you have the correct region placements in ZE and named the same as the ones in your LUA.

I'm not an expert on this in fact im just starting...

The CP already had a correct capture region, spawn path, and control region. The map that I am trying this out in is a conversion of Kashyyyk: Docks.
