Your map needs to be a power of two. i.e. 2x2, 4x4, 8x8. Ideal map sizes are 128x128, 512x512, and 1024x1024.
To change terrain, if you don't know, go to the upper right, click the big "Terrain" button, and at the bottom of the window that appears, click "Create New Terrain"

Oh, and don't make message titles all caps.

Ill never understand why it has to be powers of two...Is there some reason it HAS to be powers of two?

Because that's how the industry works for the most part. It's very easy to do calculations in-game (and much cheaper on system resources) when they know it's a power of 2.

you can do maps that arent the power of 2, however object placement shows up very different in game aposed to how it looks in ZE. Yep power of two is a lot easier for the engine to handle.
