Republic Gunship

im not a wizz at the modding tool im rather crap at it actuly hehehe but i was wondering if there was a way to up the damage on the co-pilot and the side turrets of the gunship because atm u need to get the full smack onto the npc or player to kill him and that should not be, they r gunships they should be uber is there a way to make these more powerfull?

yes... go to rep_fly_gunship_wing_ord and rep_fly_gunship_ball_ord, and change the max damage #... then clean, munge, and sptest it and you should have really powerful weapons on those slots... Note: you will have to make a backup of the original rep.lvl in the gamedata/data folder, then put your rep.lvl in there.

with other words: it replaces the rep.lvl file with a new powerful Gunship

so you should remember to have the 'old' one - just in case

i cannot find the rep_fly_gunship_wing_ord and rep_fly_gunship_ball_ord thing

When you import a side go to the sides folder. you want rep so go in there into ord and look for them. you can try right clicking an empty space and selecting arrrange icons by > name to make it eaiser, and at the top (if you use windows xp) select to view the folder contents as a list

Open Windows Explorer, then copy "REP" folder from "BFBuilder\Assets\Sides\" to "BFBuilder\[modid]\Sides\". Once done, go to "BFBuilder\[modid]\Sides\REP\ODF" and look for "rep_fly_gunship_wing_ord.odf" and "rep_fly_gunship_ball_ord.odf"...
