UPDATE
Here are more updated pics of Khimera: Beach Head Assault and first look at the new Khimera Islands (formerly Khimera Jungle) was thinking of making a 4th map possibly a city still deciding

Here's some notes on what I want to do with the project read if you're interested.
Make a cohesive environment that can seemlessly transition from map to map ie player thinks they are in the same region/location
Save file size by using same sides for each map but tweaking so gameplay feels different on each map
Fully experiment with custom environment/lighting
Work on making a fun replayable game experience with high replay value

Omg, dude that's AWESOME!!! I especially like the Volcano! I will gladly beta test this if you need one!
Btw, will you have any of your Defenders or anything? Like a clone with a sniper rifle and DC-15?

same sides as usual still looking for a hero will probably use conversion pack's fisto or something like that but yea same clone units with same weapons maybe add some more jettrooper like units than normal though

Some suggestions:
Take advantage of random skys + lighting + weather for all the maps. They help.
Maybe add similar animals to each map (fish and birds, some larger ones if you can) to give more of the "same area" feel.
Maybe add in some simple campaigns.

This is looking pretty awesome. I think it would be kind of cool if you set up a series of Khimera objective modes that do a little story. Kind of what Eggman is doing with his Aldura maps. Just a thought.

Dark Times will be added to these maps I will also try to give them their own custom environment
Mav or anyone with knowledge is there a way to load textures via sides just textures and then call them in the map because i want to make custom ground textures for each environment
I've tried

That is how you do it; you can see the shell or common assets for reference. Anything else is just going to be determined by the time it is loaded in the .lua.

lol the volcano is relatively small and very intricate (lots of big mustafar objects to make lava stuffs it would be impossible to make a intricate base it does have a cp in the center in the magma chamber just like the old map
Edit I tried doing the texture thing and it's munging the files but not compiling them into a .lvl is there a special munge.bat file or a way that I can get the .texture files which are located in build/sides/abc/munged/pc into the .lvl files

o yea i still have the old one well sorta not now since the new one uses the same addon name but yea trust me it looks a lot different still has the very nicely working flyers though pics will be up soon of khimera islands
