Counter Strike: Source Install Trouble **FIXED**

I just bought Counter Strike: Source yesterday and I'm already having problems with it. Install problems, to be exact. Every time I go to install it, it works fine until about 5 minutes in (still on first CD). Then I get hit with this error:
Counter Strike: Source Installation Error wrote: Error 1135. The cabinet file 'css.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package
It also gives me the choice to Abort, Retry (in which I still get the same error), or Ignore (in which I get this error:
Counter Strike: Source Ignore Error Part 1 wrote:Internal Error 2350
And then immediately after that:
Counter Strike: Source Ignore Error Part 2 wrote:Installation ended prematurely because of an error

Every single time I try to reinstall, it is the same error. And also the same file: counter-strike source shared.gcf
Also, this game is a legal copy bought from a well-known store (not a crappy on where it could be an illegal copy). When I bought it it was in a sealed box. Also, I have all of the required specs and every driver/sound card is up to date. I have Steam installed too.

Please help me, my dad and I have already been working on it for over 10 hours and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

**FIXED**
OK, this is how I did it, since I could not install the C.Ds on my computer, I installed them on my dad's computer. Then, I registered it. After waiting about an hour for it finish registering on my Steam account, I logged off then on (as suggested here: http://support.steampowered.com/cgi-bin ... _topview=1 ). When I logged on again the games (CS:S, HL2DM, DoD) were available for download.

That sucks hard. I have no clue what could be wrong. At first my thought was that you didn't have the right specs for it. But you said that everything fits the requirements. Do you have the pixelshader and DirectX installed? Or do you need either of those for it to work. Also you may need a better graphics card, but you said yours should work. Maybe your computer has to much stuff on it? Like the Hard Drive could be full. I don't know. Good luck on it.

I have good enough of DirectX, and 22GB of HD space.

If you're really desperate go into My Computer/E (or w/e your drive is) and right click then choose explore, try looking for a diff autorun thing or a setup icon. My guess is that its one of two things:
either
1) Your actual game files are corrupted and you're hosed
or
2) Your files are fine but the autorun is extracting the said files badly and thus making it seem like they're corrupted. Running a diff setup file might fix this. If all else fails just call the manufacturer, if youve got the box and repceit and its all legit theyll probably be more than happy to replace that mofo.

I know 1 is not true because it works on my dad's computer. 2 for the same reason. I installed it on his computer and activated the registation key, and now I'm waiting for it to take effect so I can download it with mine.
