Re: Override Texture?
Override texture doesn't work on everything. Stock jedi, clonetroopers (Ep2), and b-1 droids are pretty much the only models it works for. To change Jango's texture, you need to modify his original texture (not the one in the assets, but the copy you made when you added him to your sides folder).

Re: Override Texture?
And the Naboo guards, gungans, ewoks and wookiees support it too I think. Not sure about the gungans. Or the wookiees. Or the ewoks
Anyway, isn't there a way to hexedit a model to accept overridetexture? Though renaming mshs and tga names might be easier if you want multiple different mandalorians, I guess.

Re: Override Texture?
Way back then I said "Hey I know how to add override textures to any mesh, does anyone care?"

Wait, really? How hard is that process? That might make the concept of "multiple skins, one msh" much more efficient!RepSharpshooter wrote:Way back then I said "Hey I know how to add override textures to any mesh, does anyone care?"

Whoops, forgot to mention that Rep had done that.authraw wrote:Wait, really? How hard is that process? That might make the concept of "multiple skins, one msh" much more efficient!RepSharpshooter wrote:Way back then I said "Hey I know how to add override textures to any mesh, does anyone care?"
The process isn't any easier (it may be a little harder), but it does have the advantage of saving space in that you only have to munge one mesh.

Re: Override Texture?
Hex editing in the Override texture sequence is quite difficult, easier to just hex edit the texture name a unit's mesh uses.

Re: Override Texture?
Well if the MODL name is as long as override_texture or longer, it's pretty easy to add them, just rename the MODL NAME to override_texture. Well, it's easy for me, I suppose, but I hex-edit mesh stuff all the time.
Yeah. but I'd do it the regular way as caleb suggests.

Re: Override Texture?
Check LUAs, REQs and ODFs. If you're model is physically there but the game can't find it it's usually something small like a spelling error.
