Does Firefly have to do with the movie Serenity? That movie is crazy wierd. Hmmm...... let's see one thing you could do with your map is to definetly smooth out the terrain, and some of the ground textures look really stretched. I like that alliance soldier, he looks determined for some reason. If your changing around the sides and such you should make all the weapons fire bullets because isn't that the kind of guns they used? Not sure

and for the turret base are you gonna have some no controllable turrets?
There was only one turret in the TV show and the thing is brutally overpowered to begin with so, only one turret. That base is crucial to winning the battle, by the way.

Serenity is a continuation of Firefly, yes.

Will do.

It's already on my to-do list. :)

The objects were not made by myself (see credits) but I did skin or reskin them. I will be adding variation to ground texture.

Woah! If you actually can get that working, then... Then... Then... Well, then I don't know what to do, but I will surely be something cheerfully

I'm planning on modifying the ordinance for each weapon and then using Majin's tutorial on adding custom sounds to make the guns different.

Alpha, I have made a post about cloth creation is the XSI forum, but, so far, I have received no responses. I can give you the flags, but they will look kind of dorky without the cloth effect.

I'm back.

And, I'm glad you got your XSI, t55', if you could send me the flags when they're done that'd be great. I hope you can figure the cloth thing out.

Need to do:
-Fix Base 2 (Done)
-Remove Jetpack from Alliance Commando (Done)
-Tidy Mal's Skin (Done)
-Change I.F. Weapon Ordinance
-Change Mal's Weapon
-Replace CPs with Flags
-Change Imperial Names to Alliance Soldier Names (How? I did it with the Browncoats, but it won't work with the Alliance)
-Remove wrist rocket and flamethrower from Womack's armory
-Random Explosions (How?)

After I do these, I will release v1 of the map.

Yay!! Looking good, I like how Mal looks. :D But the first link to him is broken, just so you know. This is looking better and better, hopefully those flags are working out.

I'll do it! :)

I like testing maps. :)

I'll test this. I've only seen parts of Firefly, but whatever.
I will be on from 10am EST to 12 am EST tomorrow.

Edit:I just got the map

Review:Very nice job on this. The new models and units really make this map look more like Firefly and less like Star Wars. I only played as the alliance
(which is really the Empire, that gets kinda confusing  ), but it looks good.

Bugs:
1.All units suffer from missing the award weapons, which causes the game to freeze if you switch them while having the award
2.Everything has an orange tint. If this is intentional I suggest adding a sun to the sky
3. The alliance hero (I forgot his name) still uses Boba Fett's sounds
4. Once I took control of all cp's exept cp1, the browncoats wouldn't go after the other cp's and the alliance wouldn't go after cp1, making it so I had to win the match by myself.
Otherwise, great job on this!

I am trying to get rid of the star wars feel as much as possible ;)
Bugs:
1.All units suffer from missing the award weapons, which causes the game to freeze if you switch them while having the award
How can I remove awards for a specific map?
2.Everything has an orange tint. If this is intentional I suggest adding a sun to the sky
The map will eventually be at night and the orange tint is intentional.
3. The alliance hero (I forgot his name) still uses Boba Fett's sounds
I haven't gotten around to the custom sounds yet, but I hope to.
4. Once I took control of all cp's exept cp1, the browncoats wouldn't go after the other cp's and the alliance wouldn't go after cp1, making it so I had to win the match by myself.

Still trying to figure that out. I haven't finished working with the AI yet.

Thanks for the review!

It's a pretty interesting map, although, like commander_fusion, I only played as the alliance, I know nothing whatsover about this show, so I can give you know advice in accuracy, I didn't find many bugs, if I found any at all, only what Fusion said, But playing as the Alliances leader, he still has Boba Fett's voice, and still says everything he says. :)

Although, you still need to work on pathing, because, the bots will just try to run through walls, and won't do anything else. It's pretty good, if you need anything else, tell me. :)

Sorry for missing you on X-Fire by the way Thire, I forgot to turn it off when I left. I still need to work on barriers especially near the independence base on the hill because the bots go crazy trying to run through the mountain.

will the music from the tv show be on the map

If someone can find out how to get custom music to work, it will. I do have the music in .wav format but I don't know how to get it in-game.
