Same here. For me it says: "The page cannot be displayed." I'd assume it will be back up soon, though.

I don't think anyone can log in. The site should be fixed soon......
As for the immature 10-year olds thing, I completely agree that a lot of the comments on Filefront are completely immature (especially complaining about screenshots. Quote: "no screenies, no download".

Filefront seems to be up and running again.

Actually, that's a valid reason not to download plenty of big files, such as maps or large mods. Lots of people, especially those with slow internet connections, want to know what they're getting before they waste the time downloading something.

Edit: The flip side to that is occasionally you have people who rate something only by the few screenshots they see. I've seen a few comments along the lines of "Looks okay, I might download it later. I give it a 7/10" (or whatever).

Regardless of how the community appears, I think Filefront itself is a good site to have around. Any site that large is going to get a lot of immature members, and there's really not much anyone can do to stop it.

Is Filefront still under maintenance? I can't seem to log in for some odd reason.

I've heard that too about 'screenies'. I like Gametoast much more, though I haven't been a member long.

And isn't Filefront, like, always under construction? I know it was for a while, but I'm not sure if the site is fully functioning again. There's a few things I can't do when I log in, like rate on the picture of the day... not that that matters much...

There have been a number of newsposts about this at Filefront, and if you are not reading them you should be, because they answer a lot of questions. Filefront has been in a state of perpetual reconstruction for the past few months, which can be expected as it shifted ownership and has a backend that needs updating.

Huh, didn't know it was switching owners. I read the network news, said something about the owner having a loss in his family. But it's good to see Filefront up and running again, even if it does have a few slight bugs.
