Looks good anyways. Where did you pull the metal texture from?
YJJs textures are 100% SELFMADE!

Yup, it's like the duck said (And I seriously have no idea how he can type so well with those wings...). Once upon a time, I got inspired by the texture god HapSlash - an incredibly skilled painter from the Jedi Academy modding world. I have always been into drawing and such, so I am not completely "disabled" when it comes up to being artistic. I didn't have any painting skills at all when I first started out, but now - approxo one year later - I am pretty ok. :music:

I'd never photo-source a texture (Unless the model is supposed to go in a high-res game, like Crysis), since it's really just so unpersonal and plain boring. However - it's up to everyone how they want to make their stuff, this is just my way.

Caleb1117 wrote:Wow, very nice, very smooth you found a way to smooth and round the edges, let me guess...

Did you bevel the edges? Cause it looks a bit like that.

Regardless, very good for your first attempt

thanks for the feedbacks!!
i think the reason why the edges look smooth is that most of them are more than 90°
however im thinking about making the shuttle more "round" like in the pic below:

and yeah the textures will be white with a little bit grey and blue, and of course the cockpit will be black, but first i must add more details

Woah, when I first saw the picture, I thought it was your model texture and was like, Double U Tee [DDr.P]. It'll look great if you can get it right :D.

believe me, im WAAAAAY too lazy to make so much details, but thanks anyway

right now it has some simple textures: the cockpit is black, the engines are cyan and the rest is white with a bit grey
ill add some places to the wings that will be darker and some other details

Back ontopic: those models are looking auseome YJJ, and all. I don't know how you possibly make textures like that, but they look really good.

Thanks for all the comments! And yes - it's a map pack. I don't want to talk about it now, but it will definitely be worth the wait (About six months, that is the deadline at least) - and keep in mind that this speeder is just a prop - a map filler. You can imagine how much work I will spend on the REALLY important models... :maulsaber:

 that....looks......................amazing!
and i think its a good idea to make it a prop, since anyone, who like his/her life, wont use a speeder in such repair

Looks pretty good if you ask me. If you look closely, you can see that I haven't mirrored anything on the UV map. I will probably make 90% of the models for the map pack this way - it may look super blurry on some, but it won't look repetive. :music:
