Transparent hover skiff? Nah... !

I reskinned the tatooine skiff, meshed the beast and all that.

And used in a dense environment, crossing water or low foliage it appears to be... well.. . almost as if there was no collision or surface at all.

Is this the water and foliage being "not dense" or a new issue that I have inflicted on myself?

Looking forward to a reply.

the texture on the model is good.
the model appears in game.
passengers mount and dismount.

but ground surface, foliage and water push through the floor of the vehicle, static and moving.

the vehicle climbs a hill but on the approach and descent appears to push into the hill instead of hovering over it, or colliding with the surface.

hover height has been raised- that does not appear to fix this.

this is cosmetic as the vehicle functions well.

I would like to see if I could fix this.

This is a mod to the skiff or a new model. Didn't quite understand that part.

I have taken the all_hover_skiff [ as used in tatooine ]
changed the skin to a more "imperial" coloring, modified a .msh file to accept the new skin so that there was no clash with shipped sides, renamed an odf.
the new "imp_hover_skiff" was placed into a dc:side file and the new skiff worked well in game.

the original model in Tatooine :Dune Sea glides over the terrain like a solid object.

the "imp_hover_skiff" runs INTO the terrain, and foliage, terrain and water can be seen hrough the floor of the vehicle as it moves.
