what will he look like? is he going to be a dark scout trooper or something like the republic clone commando?

edit the lua in your map to get units from the new infantry.lvl that comes with the conversion pack...

They are great! especially the clone commandos...
just one question though:
Why do the republic have the ep.2 commander and recon units at platforms? I think the 146th had their own recon and commander units at that map in the older versions...

I like them alot! i think the best idea was to give the Clone Recon trooper the DC-17 Sniper rifle. I love that weapon!
MagnaGuard with staff is good, it's only slightly overpowering. (alot less than I expected)
Like the Imperial Commando with the DC-17 rifle. Good class!
Love the rebel Spec Ops seismic charges!

It's not really that overpowering actually, the commando's pretty Diet Dr. Pepper strong too

I think the range should be turned down a little, because I hit him from the bottom right cp when he was at the mddle CIS cp

I think that the clone commando's main weapon (forgot the name) and the imperial commando's main weapon is a little over powered. I was playing single player and was just spraying and getting one shot kills (in the head) on like 15 guys per clip. I can only imagine what it would be like in multiplayer.
Also, i think that the commanders are worse than the special units (because the pistol overheats too fast now), yet it takes more points to unlock. maybe the commanders need another weapon? I don't know, but they are just not as good as the commandos.

You've seen what their recon droid does, right? I think they're fine the way they are.

wouldn't you say that the commandos are still more powerful? Its the fact that the commanders are not as good (in my mind) as the commandoe, but the commanders require more points that doesn't make sense to me.
