Hey ya'll

Has anyone started or finished the DC17 Blaster used by ARC Troopers?

I'd rather know if anyone already have made them or are in progress rather than suddenly 'steal' work from others

I recall I once heard one or two talk about it/them, but I don't know about any progress - lol

This topic will be renamed to a WIP if the project is all clear

if that's the one General Fordo used in The Clone Wars Cartoon, then yes he have 2 of them.

and Mini', I just have respect for other's work - and I won't do something others are doing or have done - that's just me

so is that the gun, Dragonum, or..? (I honestly can't recognize it - lol)

Qdin, you don't have to worry about stealing other peoples idea or work, I mean everyone can do what ever they want. But if thats just your feelings about it, oky doky!

yeah, the ideas are sole property of George Lucas, he after all thought of the gun, your just making it for a game. your making something that is actually based off of someone elses idea and not your own.

that is so true, but i do know that in the map of Jabiim that has been modded, that there is the ARC-trooper Alpha as a hero, it weapon is much better then the normal, but i never looked at the texture and i thought it was just a normal blaster

Yes that model by dragonum is the DC-17 Blaster as used by Captain Fordo of the ARC Troopers, if you want it for one of your own maps Qdin then you are wlecome to use it as dragonum has made this at my request Tho just wait till i get my first map out (as it has fordo wielding that weap)

That pistol is already in SWBF II (default pistol for Republic).

It seems to have the appearance in the CW cartoon and the one in the comics...(the SWBF II one)...

No, no, no, I made this model. It is Captain fordos weapon in clone wars, but it isn't exactly this version. I made it how id could be seen in the Journal of the Whills Magazine 40 from the beginning of this year. The different to the clone wars version ist the missing peak at the front of the piston. It's about the DC17a blaster rifle, not pistol

Sorry, i didn't realise you were on here Bertie, i know you made it. it's just that dragonum is helping me with models for my mod and he says that it has been made, so i just said he made it, i know you did
And yes Dragonum is not me slave, he's been very kind to help me with these things, i'm not forcing you to do anything.

DC-17 Hand Repeating Blaster = fordo's gun
DC-15A = Clone Rifle
DC-15S = Clone Carbine
DC-17m = Clone Commando's ICWS
DC-17p = Jet trooper's pistol
DC-15s = Clone Commando Pistol
DC-15 = Clone Blaster (default rep pistol, but should have both hands on it)
DC-15x = Sniper Rifle

DC-17a = Arc Heavy Blaster
Westar-M5 = Arc Assault Rifle (seen on hypori)

DC-17A = Clone Rifle
