Basic vehicle questions

Alright, so I'm working on a consular-class cruiser (pre-clone wars), and I've got a lot of questions.
* For hardpoints, should I use nulls or cones?
* How the Diet Dr. Pepper do I export a .exp file when crosswalk only works with .xsi files?
* How do I get multiple guns working on it, including a turret?

As for second what the Diet Dr. Pepper are you talking about?
All my models are .exp and they can be exported thru crosswalk hunkydory (have u even tried?)

Yes.
And I did visit the tutorials. The only complete tutorial involving vehicles is outdated anyway.
When did asking questions become forbidden?

Did it work?
Cus honestly I have no probs. More like, if ur heading for MshEx, is it me or can it handle vehicles properly(there was a pic of a coruscant speeder)
Yeah I know that outdated tut, follow it anyway. It gets u SOMEwhere.
P.S. Hardpoints are usually nulls, and there is a turret tut somewhere too

Don't act hurt; he didn't imply that they were. His question was legitimate.
You may be confused if you are trying to run Crosswalk as a standalone application. When your scene is open in XSI Modtool, browse to File->Crosswalk->Export to export as .xsi.

That's what I always do. I try it and it always gives me this "unspecified failure" bulldinky.
