LoZ: Ocarina of Time

I got bored the other day, so I dug out my old, dusty Game Cube - and my LoZ: The Wind Waker Limited Edition game, which also contains the Game Cube ported version of LoZ: Ocarina of Time. I got so excited and immediately started playing it, and I can't believe I had forgotten how much fun it was to journey around Hyrule on Eponia, raiding perilous temples and other LoZ-related things. :)

I just finished Ocarina of Time, and I've begun Master Quest (which is essentially the same game, except the many dungeons have been completely rearranged and become much more difficult), and I'll probably do Majora's Mask after that, if I find the time.

So I'm just wondering if there are any other Ocarina of Time fans here at Gametoast, who'd like to discuss the game? :)

EDIT: Let's try and keep this spoiler-free, because there are many surprises in these games!

Heck yes!
Ocarina of Time is probably my favourite LoZ game.

To be honest, I really don't like the Zelda series' style of gameplay.

(Flame Shield activate!)

However, I do love the final boss fights in both of the N64 titles. (In fact, so much, that whenever I get to play the rom I use "noclip" and fly to the area with all weapons/masks :P)

I'm a huge Zelda fan, played all games (except the four swords series) multiple times. I've finished Master Quest with all hearts, upgrades and golden skulltulas.

My favorite is Majora's Mask though. Bigtime.

noclip? What's the code? I have a zillion MM and OoT codes, but no noclip...

I somewhat agree with you, though I really liked OoT a lot.
I dunno, they're pretty equal in my mind.

I find them hard to compare, since they're actually two very different games. :?

Ugh. I liked the Zelda series, but surprisingly I didn't really get excited over Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. That could be from not playing them since I was very young, but I actually kind of liked Twilight Princess more. Now, don't get mad at me, I'll give my reasons too.

Ocarina of Time:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Pros
Very long adventure
Great for its time
Can spend days playing it
Excellent story

Cons
OUTRAGEOUSLY long
Could never figure out what to do at times
Some heart-pieces were impossible to get
Redead
Those big hands that come down and teleport you to the beginning of the dungeon ( :P )
Majora's Mask:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Pros
VERY original ideas
Great story
Decent amount of time
Great dungeons
The masks

Cons
Three days... Need I say more?
The beginning (had to restart 10 times because I didn't know what to do
Sometimes you had to much stuff you could use...
Twilight Princess
Hidden/Spoiler:
Pros
Great graphics (:D )
Long game
Fun sidequests (Fishing, eh?)
Great story

Cons
Finding all goodies was to easy (done it twice)
Some parts annoying (finding the light bugs...)
Some parts OUTRAGEOUSLY hard (that Shadow Temple was SOO not worth it)
So yeah. I didn't really like Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. (Or Wind Waker, or any other Zelda cartoon style games)

I don't think they call it that, but the emulator I used had the code built in, might have been called fly or something.
