I don't understand french at all either; my guess from the pictures and video is that it's like "Pimp My Ride - Computer Edition!" or something like that.

Take a look at the 1st and 2nd edition vids, even if you don't understand what they say, you'll understand, what they do.

Also, if you use google chrome, right click when you are on one of the pages above, and translate, it didn't worked on the other page , because the texts were a pictures

I don't really like the original Half-Life logo; It's too lowrez because it hasn't been made for high resolution monitors (I have 1998 retail version).

So I made a new one. I used this cover to get the logo: http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/h ... verId,246/

Step 1: Extracting logo and painting with in a single color Step 2: Make the background using Plasma render, calcs and variations of red Step 3: Add noise and bump Step 4: Copying the two parts into a single icon with alpha channels and transparency + resizing logo + coloring the foreground part in grey
Final result: On desktop:
