I'm doomed with new sides. I've read several different tutorials about making new sides, and they've confused me. Each one is a little different, and I get lost within all the steps and files. This wouldn't be a problem if I actually had the time to figure it out. I was dumb enough to make a promise pertaining to mods, and now I'm working on a mod as a history project. I've devoted half my weekend to trying to get this mod working, but I've been sick and the deadline is sooner than I originally knew. I have a stupid request: can anyone set up a DataModID folder with custom sides? If anyone is willing to do this, just make the map name "ISSUS", set up for one era (doesn't matter which one), two opposing custom sides (just set up, no files, name doesn't matter), with calls in the apropriate files for one unit on each side, called "gr_inf_persia" and "gr_inf_greece".

If anyone could do this and have it available to me as soon as possible, then thanks. If not, then I've learned that I've got to stop making promises...

OK, forget the request. I decided to go through the tutorials again, and did everything that was written. I also had Datachainisle open and was looking at those files to see everything fred had done. I set everything up, munged, and tested, and nothing had changed. The only thing I didn't do was localize, and when munging it kept going in circles with the language config files. I left it munging for half an hour and nothing changed and the size of the munged files didn't change, so I tested it anyway. Any ideas?

Gynt', would you mind uploading the Star Wars Battlefront project you've just mentioned ? I could have a look at it and check out what may be wrong with it...
