Now, most of you see my name, then the word Wii, and run. For a change, this will be for some good use. (there's 4 pages, every one worth looking at)

Make sure you guys reinforce your straps a little better??

No need to. Nintendo recently announced that their Wiis will come with hand straps. It is probably an external connection that shouldn't affect that other controlller at all.

Yeah, I've played it. The straps are built into the remote, and tighten to fit your wrist.

Nintendo has fixed that problem by releasing stronger straps with the Wiimotes.

Yup. But it's quite funny :D
I'm not a real agressive person, so throwing the mote won't be a problem.

The funniest picture was where the guy threw his into the side of the TV and it got stuck. How do you throw the remote so hard that you're able to puncture plastic!!

Really? Our old TV was pretty much bullet-proof, but the same can't be said about out new one.

Y'know, the plastic really isn't very thick. I'd say it'd be harder to break the glass than the plastic.

i think someone has to be quite a turd to throw their wiimote. I mean if your swinging it aggresively, it goes without saying your holding it agressively. Even if your "into the game", how many people has accidently town a tennis racket when they swung too hard?

Exactly. You ever see a Xbox 360 controller or PS3 controller sticking-out of your 60-inch TV? I'm still looking for pics of that. :P

Either way, to be playing the game and being so into it that you start flinging your controller at the TV, you've got some problems there buddy! :D Not to bash you wiiers, but, dang! Glue it to your hands, or be nicer to your system.

Yeah I was all for the glue part, but I figured it'd become difficult to eat and stuff with controllers stuck to my hands. I'll just hold em tight :P

... Many, many, many!
I've done it, and I've seen many others do it. On TV, in real life, in movies. Yeah.
People really get into games. Whether it's video games, or RL games, people get into them. And if you're swinging agressively, it does usually mean that you're holding aggressively, BUT! Perhaps this person loosens in in their hand for about 2 seconds, and they swing... Oops.

but the thing is why would someone loosen a grip, its logical that if you have a stronger hold on the racket, the ball will bounce with more force because it doesnt't push the racket back as much. maybe not in a video game but in real life its the case...

but I can understand if you bang into other stuff with your swing, like a chair or something. Then you can finally say your "too into the game" ... to realize where your swinging

I've only played it once, and I banged into stuff.
I also managed to ruin a couple of my cousin's golf swings... with my head...
...
wiimotes hurt.

But they are pretty robust. At least the Wii has that going for them, because if those things were fragile..............
