So the prop shows up in game, but in zero editor, the object is invisible and I cannot see how i am arranging it.
Any ideas?

ZeroEditor displays the lowrez object, does your msh include a lowrez model?

Just copy the main model and rename it somename_lowrez, where "somename" is whatever you named the main model.
If your model is high poly you might consider running the polygon reduction tool on it and using that for your lowrez mesh.
