your helmet texture looks paintbrush add some struckture or damage. but your visor is GREAT :thumbs: :thumbs:

The new saber-combat style is amazing, the work you've done over the past few months has blown my mind (and quite a few of other people).

But what I think about it is that the hero's with guns seem to be at a disadvantage with the lightsaber people, what I'd personally like to see is that the hero's have a chance to dodge bullets from either reflected or shot by other enemies, or even lightsaber attacks!

not really sure if that's even possible (maybe with heavy scripting) but if you can figure out anything about this, that would make this mod even more outstanding (and blow what's left of my mind to bits)

Amazing mod! Great work! Keep pushing forward, and what ever you find that you can do, wether it be new ideas or refurbishing old ones, do it with all of your might!

Thanks for your words, now to address this.

This is not possible, or at least not practical. The only way to do this would be to have a melee weapon with some kind of Dodge system implemented, with new animations. But then this is unpractical, as you would most likely have to have the melee weapon selected for it to work.

Th Balance between Gun Heroes and Saber Heroes will b achieved thus.
-Gun Heroes have more health
-Gun Heroes have grenades and more weapons.
-Gun Heroes have the range Saber heroes do not.


I will be having a second beta here soon. I am cutting the beta list down quite a bit, so that people who couldn't do the first beta, wont be on the list for the second one. List is slightly undecided at this time.

sorry for the late report been all over the place with stuff to do lately
but i pretty much agree with what all the others said
but in hero assault as a gun hero i kept getting push spammed into the wall then shishkabobed by the melee heros :runaway:
visuals were excellent in all the skins and such
seemed abit unbalanced but i guess that was the aim
only other gripe i had was that the game play was abit too focused on the player i barely ever needed my teammates help
over it pretty great soo far keep up the good work

Maybe, but its moot, as Boss, and the other 3 deltas, will be useing D.U.C.K.s models when he releases them anyway.

Your mod has the same problem as Skelltors mod, it doesn't show up in the "create server" menu. There is a fix for it, but I can't find it right now...

Actually thats not an "issue" I left it like that, I only added that fix to hero deathmatch. new beta will have the maps ready for online testing, hopefully.

Ok, I expected that it wasn't possible (like all the other ideas I get)

But I guess that it would work, but how would you be able to survive

I guess that you'll just have to be able to avoid those situations, but it would be nice to have a way, kinda like a stun grenade if they get to close...

But I think we can survive through that, so keep up the good progress!

great video can you show some more pics of Cis.

i like the big SKDs. but in argent gray they will be even better.

i like the animation of health and grenade throw (how he moves his rifle).

in the video while you walk back the two hand animation isn't use can you fix that.

i think your floating icons you have seen by your self.

the first trooper played in the video: i think the way he hold the weapon looks unhuman.

First, by "you", I am going to try to make sure it was clear here, Appo played the mod, took the video, and put it on youtube with my permission.

I can "fix" the animation, but I thats my choice whether I do or not.

I need more specifics than, "the first trooper". What weapon? DC-15a? Z6? What?

And no one asked you for a bug report. I know your trying to be helpful, but that wasn't the point of putting the video up. People get bored when there aren't any updates or pictures, so the video served to help sate the hunger for updates. I have enough beta testers and I already know about 90% of all bugs to begin with. No one plays this mod more than I.

How come it says "pwned" instead of "killed". For Example...

The magnaguard's skeleton looks weird and the battledroid's neck looks odd. But the rest is amazing, the game looks like it has a completely different feel. I believe anakin was talking about the z-6 when he said the animations looked unhuman.

Ah, yeah, great, secrets out, my mod is corrupted (or was, actually)

I had to replace the localization files because they got corrupted, and I used the files from my fun test map no one has ever seen. I never bothered to remove the pwned stuff till 3 days ago.

Its gone from the mod, now, never speak of this foul debauchery ever again!
