This should be a quick question.
Is there any particular tool or method that should be used when trying to make amour scratches, scorch marks, dirt stains, or anything else in that general category on skins when using GIMP?
Any help would be appreciated.

scorches can be done with the galaxybrush you smudge

Dirt could also be put on via a Galaxy brush, unsmudged.
