Sorry for this double post but I'm back with news on my map.
First of all I never changed the sky because the pic I saw of Korriban it looked like a pretty good match. Now I have good news and and bad news.
First the good news i'm releasing a beta version of my map as a sort of test to see what you think I should change or add or anything like that.
the bad news is i don't know where to upload it. Any suggestions?

Well,
General_Grievous_4, there is many good hosting-sites on the internet, here's my favourites:
●
FileFront
●
RapidShare
●
SaveFile

Linus, lol. Nice avatar

I reccomend using RapidShare or Filefront because some people have been saying that savefile doesn't work for them. Filefront is the best, IMO. I like the skins so far, by the way.

FileFront is the best because register is free and there is unlimited uploading file size. The servers re also fast and the wait time is at minimum.
RapidShare is the second best only because the wait time is longer and it will be deleted in 30 days if no1 downloads it. and if u dont want that feature, then u have to pay.

Filefront is the best
Thanks for all of your input I've decided Filefront is the best choice. I'll have the map released tomorrow at the latest.

Small hint to make your map look a lot better: go into the sky file and change the fog color from the default blueish to a color that better suits the planet.
Looking good so far and I like the Dark Grievous.

use the search tool to find all files with sky in there name (in world1 folder) and delete them. then go to the world# folder of the world of which you want the sky, and then search out all files with sky in there name, and copy and paste them into your world1 folder. rename the .sky file to ModID.sky. clean munge, then munge and there you go.

i lightned the color of the ground upon request. Ill do my best to fix the fog i just don't have much time anymore. I'm also trying to add reskinned Hoth mountains to the background.

Well I'm pleased the Hoth mountains worked:

i'm going to darken them just so they match the ground.
AND I added more to the underground areas
"Master the plans!"
Dont worry that fog isn't final it's WAYY to dark.

Is it possible to put native beasts on korriban? I'm reffering to espaccially the Hssiss and also the Tuk'ata and the Shyrack.

Of course it's possible just really hard. Nothing ingame looks like any of those and I'm no good at modeling or creating new skins.
I think the acklay looks like the hssiss a little but I don't think it would look very good reskinned.
