I'm having a couple of issues with the pc version.
First off, no matter what I set my graphics to there is always this black thingy in the background, obstructing my view. I don't even know how to describe what it is.
Secondly, I have tried to download punkbuster, but whenever I go to the website and click download all I get is a wall of letters and numbers.

The black thing is something with your card I believe. I don't have anything to say about correcting it.
The punkbuster thing, you save it and place it in your pb folder in BFBC2. They actually have the instructions at the top of the screen. Haha don't worry I did the same thing with that page.
You could also use this....

Update your motherboard and GPU drivers... Change video settings documents/bfbc2/settings change some to low rather tahn mediem especially if your PC specs are not that good.BFBC2 is a highspec pc game

I will post my exact specs later when I get on my PC, but all these seem to be the required (if not higher).
Vista
Intel Quad Core 2.0 GHz
6 (or 8, I forgot) Gigs of Ram
100s of Gigs of storage space
DirectX 9 (or maybe 10)
Nvidia 8800 Performance Edition (512 MB I believe)
I was under the impression that those specs were good, but I will update all my drivers and see if that helps.
Thanks!

This is what I do with my time.
Also, the area we're in allows you to snipe people at the later bases and get 500 point shots if you hit anyone.
