Here's another one that I made in that kind of "painted" style.
It's supposed to be some sort of "river god" or something.

Thanks. It actually came out totally different than I expected. I used normal abstract brushes, colorized it, Gaussian blurred it, added in the sparkles, and added in some lighting effects which brightened up the front lines. Also, I changed did a few extra stuff with the text and sorta got a glowing see through effect.

Also great work Nylad & Vegati. I like your first one Vegati, it would make a cool wallpaper.

You have to write a tutorial for stuff like that. What did you make it with?

You have to write a tutorial for stuff like that. What did you make it with?

No need for a tutorial it was really easy to make. I made it with Gimp 2.6 and I just used normal Abstract brushes and a couple of fog brushes than I...

-Colorized it
-Duplicated layer
-Filters\Blur\Gaussian Blur
-Set blurred layer to Overlay
-Filters\Light and Shadow\Sparkle & Supernova
-Filters\Artistic\Soft Glow (Real awesome effect)
-For the Text I think I just set the opacity down, lightly blurred it, and I might of added a Soft Glow

Might of did a few other stuff but I think that's about it so its really easy as long as you know Gimp.

Also, I did a little touch up on it since I noticed the corners had a little black I missed plus I added a border and a little more small effects and here is V 2.0:

Honestly, I suck at graphics art just look at my other Sigs. I just lucked out because I found some new effects filters. I really want to do some cool Signatures with Renders like DeathRow's but I fail every time. Its mostly getting a good background.

By the Way, does anyone know of any good easy-to-follow tutorials on Rendered Sigs? I found some on Deviant Art but they were all advanced and didn't have every step.

Haha. It's impossible to win it, you just survive as long as you can.. Check out their site for strategies/help, it's easier once you get ribbons.
