Republic Elite 65th Legion; verson 1.0 (beta) FIXED VERSION

Finally, I've finished version 1.0. This is the longest work that I've done, and it's only a beta. :lol:
Here is some info on it:
The legion is my own creation, the Elite 65th. Now, I don't know if there already is a 65th legion that someone has already made, or if there is a specific history in Star Wars for it, like there is for the 501st, but I've already created it's own story. I was unable for this version to add the entire roster of units, but for the next verion, I will have them all. You can also find them in my Geonosis map(if I ever finish it).
Virtually everything has been change in it, skins, weapons, units, vehicles. My greatest creation was made only in the last few days.
The engineer has probably undergone the greatest changes throughout the course of making the side. My first version of the new engineer is what you see in one of the screenshots of my skinpack. He originally had jetpacks, with a red and blue skin. But I changed that, and now he is equipped with a Shotgun, Repairkit, Bacta Gun, Commando Pistol, Mines, and Shockmines. The bacta gun's effect doesn't seem to work all the time, it fires back at him when it does, and it sometimes takes a few shots to begin healing your guys(a little more realistic, even though it was an accident). It also has a very short range, plus the sounds are still the cpistol's.
The Rail Arc Trooper comes equipped with a powerful Multi-Missile Rocket Launcher, Beam Cannon, Cloaking Device. His other weapons stopped appearing only a few days ago, and I couldn't figure it out in time for the release, it'll be fixed in the next version, 1.1.
The jettrooper is much more powerful now, and in compliance with some requests that I've seen some people make, I've made one of the jettroopers have unlimited weapon ammo, and jetfuel, the training jettrooper. The weapons are powerful beyond compaison with anything else except the blast cannon(my most powerful creation).
The AI tends to fire off the blast cannon at pretty short range, killing itself and others. I've seen one particularly stupid ai kill fifteen of his buddies with it.
There are points on the heavy trooper now, because I've replaced him in all except name with a unit of the 65th.
The clone commander has somehow had his name changed to Clone Captain, but it's not through any localizing of my own, might be something from the conversion pack.
Some units do not have award weapons, the heavy trooper, clone captain, jettrooper, and the engineer doesn't have the award pistol, but he does have the award shotgun.and I belive I put them into the pilot. But I will give more of the units their counterpart awards for the next version as well.
So there is a lot to look for with 1.1, besides what I mentioned above, I will be adding about fifteen new heroes to the republic, Shaak Tii, Qui-Gon, Luminara, or something like that, Kit Fisto, and yes, I have the assets for kit fisto. Plus I will be creating a mission.lvl and changing a huge number of statistics, ie. number of units and reinforcements in all the maps, for all teams. I will be changing other things than that as well, Tantive IV ctf clone wars will be Republic vs. Empire, just to give you an example. I will be editting the geonosian side pretty soon, to give it a smaller acklay, and then I will add three(maybe) to the locals, as well as increase the number of the geonosians. These are only a few of the changes that I intend to make to the game. I will release the mission.lvl with the next verson of the republic, as 1.1 will be necessary to play with my mission.lvl

Will someone who knows how please post the pics that you find in the download page here? There are eight pics, you need to click the 'click here to see more' thing, and please post all eight. Thank you in advance whoever does so.

Also, please give me feedback on what you think of the side, any bugs or glitches. Even though I had no beta testers before releasing it other than myself, I would appreciate it if people just acted when posting a comment as if they were a beta tester. So please, post any thing that you find that you don't like, or whatever, so that I can change it for 1.1.

The fixed version is up. I was able to get the file uploaded yesterday afternoon, and put the link here. The super trooper, as I call him, is the ep2 jettrooper, shields, extra health, unlimited fuel, tons of ammo. Even with all that power boost, I didn't make him nearly invincible, so don't think that you can go by yourself and attempt to capture a command post with eighty guys near it, 'cause the jettrooper is still slayable.

Awesome! Thanks for putting these up, XxDepredationxX! No problem with the sizes at all. Merci!!!:D I just fixed a few issues with the side earlier today, and will upload and replace the one here with it.
Oh, and the ep2 rifleman works just fine now, even with this one here, so don't worry about playing places with him in it. Those who haven't already, if you wait 'til tonight(hopefully), I will have uploaded the fixed beta version, not 1.1. I'll put the link down here, as well as replacing the one in the first post.

No prob, in fact, you were the person I had in mind when I did it. :)
Here's the layout of the ep2 jettrooper: an emp launcher, rocket launcher, remote rockets, an extremely powerful chaingun underarm, cloaking device, emf grenade, vibrosword (I can't get it to work, I gave it secondary position), and ffoo bomb(friendly fire off only bomb). The rocket launcher is now almost ridiculously powerful, but it's pretty sweet. He doesn't have unlimited ammo, but you're more likely to kill all the enemy before having to refill on ammo, he does have a large amount, plus I gave him most of the more powerful weapons that I've created.
He will be in the fixed beta version. I can't upload it tonight, unfortunately, but I will do so bright and early tomorrow morning(I'm an early morning person).[/b]

Nope, 5:30 would be early. I get up at 6:00 am almost every day, central time.

Edit: I've begun the upload. It'll be a while yet before it's finished, however.

Sorry, it's uploading right now to filefront. As soon as it's finished, I'll post the link. And I'll know exactly when it's done, because I'm going to right here at the computer for the next hour and a half, though I'm going to go visit some friends on another site for a little while.

Oh, and concerning the side, some of those pictures you see there are from earlier versions of the side. The top three and the seventh are much more recent ones, and show more of what is in it than do the other ones.

Edit: I am really sorry. The upload was going fine, and it would have been done by now, but about thirty minutes ago I lost internet connection, and the upload was canceled :evil: :cry: . I am retrying the upload now, but I don't know if I can finish it before I need to get off, and I can't leave it going. So it may or may not come today, so just download the one in the link and try that one out instead. There is enough of a difference in the fixed and this here that you will still want to download the fixed one when I get it up. But keep a look out on this page, 'cause if not today, then I'll get it up tomorrow. Instead of six I'll get up at five, and try that early. Thank you for your patience.

A quick question, what is a really good site for uploading files to, that has quick upload times, and that I can join for free? FileFront is good, and that's what I'm using, but the upload rate is kinda slow, 130.00 Kbps is the highest rate that I've ever gotten for an upload. Kbps is kilo bytes per second, right? Well, is there a place with a faster rate than that, cause it takes too long with uploads, and I don't have a long time in which to do so.

I think that starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com is quite a bit faster than filefront at downloading but I don't know about uploading. I would think that if it downloads faster it would upload faster but I'm not sure.

With Swbffiles, you need to E-mail it to them, and they upload it, so it's actually slower than Filefront.

The filesize of your mod is pretty big so it might take sometime to get it uploaded. Meh, probably worth waiting anyway :P

At 63.63 MB, it takes an hour and ten minutes average, that's what it says below the upload part. After my first attempt at uploading this morning, I tried again and it finished, but it froze up during the redirect part, so it didn't save anywhere. I'm trying again for the third time. Is there any way to compress a file really small? The guy who made the techmod had 961MB in his mod, and he somehow compressed it down to 86MB. If I could do that kind of compression, it would be about 10. That would make upload and download extremely fast.

The sides will only change the default 501st or will it change those from the Conversion Pack or other mod maps sides?

Unfortunately, only the 501st, unless the scripting names for others are the same, and you replaced those as well. It will change the republic from any map that uses the default side, the one installed by the game, which means quite a vast number. With the scripting names and some of the weapons from them, I could probably replace the republic sides from the conversion pack as well, but I don't know if Teancum would take too kindly to that. And I would only do so if a number of people requested it. Plus, since I've recently teamed up with a few people to make a map/s, it would be a while anyways, a few months or so, before I could do it.

As for the side, try the ep2 jettrooper... Super Trooper!!!

I tried Utapau yesterday, and I really liked it. The tactics I used were Play a sniper and hide in plain sight and snipe headshots until they finally maneged to shoot me down (4-5 minutes) then swich to the jettrooper and become an ARC and blast all droids in sight. They never saw me. :)
