Could someone make a transparent weapon? I mean completely invisible, or otherwise so small your couldn't even see it. I don't need it to have an odf or be complex, I just want to create a weaponless civilian side. Thank you.

Just giving it a name of a nonexistant weapon would would work, when you typed the msh name for the weapon..

Just take a model for example all_weap_inf_pistol.msh, make an all_weap_inf_pistol.msh.option file and write on it "-scale 0.0".
Then use the all_weap_inf_pistol.msh as the weapon's msh.
This will work fine.

Modding Request

Hello, everyone. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I am a big fan of the battlefront mods on this site, and I would like to request a rather simple mod from someone who is kind enough to do it. I have no experience in modding, so I would greatly appreciate it.
I would like to request a mod that changes the appearance of the Imperial Shocktrooper into that of a regular stormtrooper with the shocktrooper's weapons equipped. Its a minor change, though I am not sure quite how to do it myself. I would also like it if the mod changed the skins of the Stormtrooper, Scout trooper, and shocktrooper would change to that of the Sandtrooper while on the Tatooine levels (similar to how they change to the snowtrooper skin when on Hoth and Rhen Var).
Alternatively, if this mod has already been created, I would appreciate someone posting a link. Thank you all.

Could someone here add glow (like you can see at the hanger shields) on the engines of a munificent model I got? I would send the msh or what ever you guys need to you. You will be credited in my Space: Boz Pity map.

i can do that, having the .xsi or scene of it would be better though, then i wouldnt have to convert and reapply the materials.

Hi, it's me again! XD
When I usually rescale models with the help of an option file I have no trouble with flickering textures or a buggy collision.
It worked for every model - except for one: The
"geo_bldg_platform.msh" from the clone wars assets which I tried to scale down to 0.15.
Is there any possibility to scale down objects within xsi?
If yes, could somebody do this?
This would help me a lot!

looking for stock maps with ships on them, like i can fly a republic gunship on mygeeto, idk, I just like flying on ground maps, so mod maps are welcome to. thanks

There are a couple maps like that already made. You'd probably like a lot of yankfan/speckofdust maps. Not all of them have fliers but most of the do. The best example of what you want would be their mygeeto map. It has a ton of units though as is really chaotic.

A few of the Convo maps have fliers with them. There's also the Capital Down maps on SWBF Files. I would get its map pack version since it has all the fixes and improvements in them.

Hi, I've tried about five times to hex edit the heavy trooper cape and ammo pouch thing onto a regular clone trooper, and I've failed miserably each time. Could some old pro please take the time to do it for me? I'd be very grateful if you could, and give you credit, if you'd like.

wouldn't changing the heavy trooper's model and skin to the trooper's ones in the odf work better, then you could just rename it and localize >.>

I'm sorry allow me to explain:
Attached with the heavy trooper cape is it's little ammo pouch thing that goes across it's chest. What I'm trying to do is get the ammo pouch and cape to go on a stock clone trooper model. So it'd look like a regular trooper except he would have an ammo pouch and cape. As far as I can tell it is impossible to do without hex editing because the heavy trooper and clone trooper have different msh's. I hope that clears up everything.
