Well, it is a similar idea. I mean, they're both assassins. Though now that he's good, I guess he's no longer an assassin?

"Bald anti-hero guy with a hoodie" is a very popular character design nowadays, I can't understand why, but it is.

Pardon me, but I don't have much faith on them when it comes to making sense of the Star Wars canon. Still, I won't go overboard with speculations, there isn't much to make out of it, afterall The Force Unleashed is a hack 'n' slash game, a deep story is not its strenght. I quote:

Kicking dr.peppers with the Force must be very fun.

I'm assuming the prologue of the game will consist of the previous game's events? And how he survived?

Hidden/Spoiler:

I still wonder why people seem to be questioning whether Galen Marek is really the person in the game or not, and how exactly he came to live again.
THINK FOR ONE SECOND
If it were a clone, I doubt the Emperor and Vader would let him drift off.
Let's think back to the end of TFU. As you can see, A) The Rebel Alliance is formed in honor of Marek's death B) Darth Vader is now going to hunt down the Rebels C) Galen Marek's corpse DOES NOT VANISH.
However, Kota states "He is at last one with the Force," which would imply that his corpse went poof, as do all Jedi corpses.
That does not make sense!
So both the clone and reconstruction ideas are out the window. What now?
No, reconstruction is not out of the window. Look a bit closer at the end cutscene of TFU. Marek's body is still there after dying. In the novel, it's still there, although he does have an out-of-body experience. Not all Jedi disappear upon death. In fact, so far, only Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Luke have done so. Even Qui-Gon, who found out about this art, did not disappear. "One with the Force" is just another way of saying "His soul has moved on". Which had supposedly happened before to Marek.
I'm not agreeing that reconstruction is out the window, I'm still going to have to stick with taht. But most Jedi's bodies DO dissappear. Mara Jade's did, and they were surprised that it took so long to do so.

What did I just tell you? The Weyland-Yutani corporation cloned him!

Well, to bring something else to conversation besides TFU2, I will point out these two trailers that made me squee:

Yeah, Medal of Honor looked pretty cool. Looked similar to Modern Warfare, but really, they're both modern, and so it would make sense that they look close to the same.

Well, I'm glad EA is trying to fight back against the Call of Duty series, and I hope this new Medal of Honor (set in the present day) can revive the series, as it was my first FPS game.

For me they look exactly the same. Just the EA one looks more "fast" paced. But that could be the trailer....

Cutscene graphics...but yeah, with NATAL implemented, hopefully we will get a new Halo experience.

Cutscene graphics..
It's rendered ingame, if you don't believe then-- link
Notice it says "In Game Trailer"
But I will totally go through the whole game meleeing if it uses NATAL

I believe that by referring to the scene as in-game, they are claiming the cutscene is actually in the game, not gameplay.

I don't see why you'd think that can't be real gameplay. The 360 can easily push that.

Besides, it is the opening cutscene of the game, and have you heard of a Bungie game without in-game rendered cutscenes? (Marathon doesn't count, I don't think it had cutscenes, but I havn't played it too much, so it could) Remember, Halo Wars wasn't Bungie....

I'm looking forward to Reach purely on the basis of squad-based Halo. To me, Reach resembles a combination of Republic Commando and Halo 3, with Bungie's trademark ridiculously high level of realism - Halo 3's sniper rifle, at least according to a preview article in an old EGM, incorporated the speed of sound - and probably the excellent balance that the series is known for (well...at least since Halo 1's pistol and rocket launcher).
It doesn't hurt that the Elites are finally back as enemies. Brute Chieftains are terrifying when they go berserk, but the Brutes as a whole were never as effective villains as the honor-driven, deeply-religious Elites. Perhaps the real problem was that the Brutes, with weapons such as the Spiker that we would, today, call "primitive", were never alien enough. Oh, and energy swords are about four times as cool as lightsabers.
I still hope they did, in fact, keep the three-round-burst battle rifle, but if not, ah well. With a 12-round magazine, at least it'll bring back memories from Combat Evolved and ODST.

It's the last HALO game by Bungie, so I don't think they'd let it slide away as a bad game.
