Problem with VisualMunging

Post by Smoosh »

I am having a problem whenever I use the VisualMunge tool for modding. This is what happens:

-It munges nothing (goes really fast) says, ok, run bfii

-at the bottom of the munge screen thing it says :/Utilities/Bin/x86 was unexpected at this time.

-I've deleted the modtools file (the uninst isnt working) and re-downloaded and installed it, but it still does the same thing.

Anyone know what's going on? It's really annoying because I want to mod! Argh.

Go to
Start -> Run...
Then type in dxdiag, click ok.
Then copy what you see on the window that opens up.

I don't think it's a problem with my computer, I think it's something with the ModTools, because I've had it for a while before this problem.

Oh, VisualMunge used to work and then suddenly stopped? What changed since it last worked? What are you munging (what do you have checked in the tool)? Does ZeroEdit work?

Guessing, I'd say you have a space somewhere in the path to the mod tools. Install it somewhere else.

By specs I meant what operating system are you running and if it is a 32-bit or 64-bit OS (if you don't know, then its 32-bit).

I don't know how to install it in a different location because I downloaded the modtools fromt swbattlefront.filefront.com and it is a self-extracting d/l, so does anyone know how I can extract it somewhere else?
