You've put down hubs and connections right?

Overall I love the effects and background. Though it not really city like and might be a little of "fighting in a sinkhole" feeling, I'll give in a 7. Can vehicles be added in?

Someone should model those droid manta fighters <--underwater fighters by the Confeds

Also those huge carriers that the mantas launched out of... All of these had a likeness of a Vulture droid fighter. The carrier however had a mix of Fed lander and Vulture droid likeness. That's if though Galactic Marine would want to put in stuff like that. (Except the carrier could be more, I dunno, a prop or something. It couldn't be moving cause fighters can't spawn while somethings moving right. :? ) Eh.. well, anyway. A big naval battle in this map would rock. :D

I know you couldn't but that massive cannon like in the cartoon cause it's too big, but wouldn't it be cool if you occasionally saw this yellow beam come from below and heading up to the surface and you see an acclamator explode? :o

@XxDepredationxX: Er...is fighting in a sinkhole okay with you? I don't want to disappoint anybody, really, and 7 is a sort of low score...I guess I could add vehicles, but I would have to make new models and rig them too. Also, I hardly have enough land troops to begin with, so adding vehicles would detract from the land battle. Also, I've been working on this project for about 7 months, and I don't feel I could go farther with it. I've had several redos to get the right image, and I think this might be it. I dunno, here is a clip of the cartoon mon calamari if you want to compare: http://youtube.com/watch?v=n3wLesNq4LI

*sigh* Nobody is satisfied with the map. I've asked others, and they are disappointed because it's not like the cartoon version. I'm sorry, but I can only work within what battlefront allows me to do. No, I can't make swim animations, and I can't make giant fish. How far am I gonna have to go to satisfy a few people, so I can squeeze out a "yes, I think after all this time and effort, it's finally ready for release"?

I'm a little (or a lot? :P ) late on my review.

It really is a cool map.

The part it really lost points in was AI. It really needed more units because it is a huge battlefield. ;)

The map: really nice, great layout, great models, great environment... but...

IMO it was too dark. You probably played astute's Kamino and on it there were spots that had lights.

It really makes it easier to play when you can see what's shooting you ( :P ) so I'd recommend sinking some Mygeeto platforms into your models so just the lights are sticking out. ;)

Units: They were really cool. :)

The only thing I'd change about the Scuba troopers was their blasts. They were cool but they were pretty big.

Fisto: He's just totally awesome. I think he just needs to be a bit "fatter" because he looks really skinny.

I really liked it. :D

As for your localization problem...

it seems you've the same problem I had before, take a look at FragMe!'s post on the second page in this topic and it may fix your problem. ;)

Overall the map is just awesome.

i always make maps for ME and not for the community.....i just see and accept what they think and maybe add some of their ideas but all in all it's MY map and if they want something different then they should do it by their own....don't let you bashing down by people who say they don't like it all in all.......if you like it release it and be happy :) but keep in mind what others say :)

I think it would be better if it showed Kit Fisto killing droids. Just an idea.

did you think of the "god ray" effect? and the canopy effect on the ground? i bet it looks great!

Nice load screen. And don't mind my last review, this map is actually pretty realistic compared to the underwater of the real world. Cancel all those building and you'll get an underwater ravine. :)

maybe you could attach a light on a weapon? so you have something like a lamp :) i think that would rock!

Yeah, that would be so awesome!! Only problem is....I don't know how to do that. Hey, would you guys be willing to sacrifice online play for more units? (this question directed towards beta testers)

This is the best map I've ever played. Ignoring the localization.

10/10

I don't care if the others don't cooperate, or the sounds, or the jumping stuff. I say it's realistic. I don't care if it's not like the cartoon, I never asked for a cartoon.

Keep up the good work, because now my Top 2 maps are both by you, GM.

Err...this is kind of an embarrasing question to ask, but how do I change the color of blaster bolts? I went into the rep_inf_rifle_ord.odf in the cis folder and changed the texture file to red, but it's still not working. I also changed the muzzle flash and other color values in the rifle odf and ord too. And since when did people address me as GM? Not that I mind or anything... :)

It looks great, I think. you should add maybe two vehicles to each side so there isnt too much non-infantry action.
