Okay this is a problem involving the patches(whats new).
Heres my story:

A while ago I wanted to change my patch level from 1.3eta to the 1.2 patch. After a while of trting things, I just decided to uninstall it and then update that to the 1.2 patch. Okay so I did that.

The problem:

When I run the 1.2 patch, it opens the readme and then i click "continue" to install. Then, after about a second, it says"unknown error!" , and then shuts down. So currently I am Battlefrontless.

If you have had a similar problem or know the solotion to this one please tell me I don't know how long I can go without Star wars Battlefront!

Ummm I already did uninstall, it says above.

uninstall the whole game

Just to clarify: I uninstalled the whole game and then deleted all of the battlefront files that remained. Then I reinstalled.

It should help : Battlefront1_2_Eng.exe

Ya I was thinking about downloading it again from another place becasue the Lucasarts one was corrupted. I heard about that somewhere.
