This is my first attempt at creating a custom skin. It's a Blackhole Stormtrooper. Well, the helmet at least... I dunno how it looks ingame cuz i dunno how to get it in game.


It's not really a glamour skin... but i dont know where else to put it.
And PLEASE no saying "it sucks" cuz I know its not that great.

I'm not gonna say "it sucks" it's not great but there's something about it. If you made the rest like the helmet I assure you it would look awesome.

Wow that Blackhole Stormtrooper is nice! Maybe it's just me, but the lenses look too far apart. It just looks kinda fishy... <-Bad attempt at humor

BTW, what editing program do you use? I use the GIMP.

The lenses should be in perfect place, since all he did was invert the colors.

No, I did not invert the colors, that's so n00bish and dumb.

I did go through and darken every single piece one by one.

I guarantee you, if I had inverted the colors, it would look much different.


I made where the lenses were myself.


And I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0

Fair enough. Then the lenses are right where they should be, and it is a nice skin.

BTW, I agree. Inverting the colors is just lazy.

Yeah, but the lens should extend to the blue area in this picture.

I disagree. It looks spot-on with the reference pic.

Yes, it looks fine. Darkening will not move piece of the skin around.

You should make the shades of black the same color. And try to add more luster.
