I first bought steam because I wanted to buy Republic Commando and not have to worry about scratching up the CD and so I completed the game a few weeks later I think but after I finished it, I bought BF2 and complications arose and I had to uninstall RC (Control Panel > Programs and Features) because I thought it might be interfering with BF2 and then later I found out that it was just a problem with steam. Now when I go to my games section RC is not showing up only BF2. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Cuz I haven't been able to play RC the day I uninstalled it.

No, I'm pretty sure he means did you reinstall RC.

Its hard to play a game without installing it first.

So let's display the events:

1) Bought(???)/Installed Steam
2) Bought/Installed Republic Commando
3) Bought/Installed BF 2
4) Uninstalled Republic Commando
5) Posted this topic because you haven't been able to play since you uninstalled it.

No, the problem is I can't reinstall it because the game is no longer found in my steam account.

I'm looking for a similar case to help, but the only thing I can find so far that could be it is, are you sure you're logging into the right Steam account?

Is the RC steam still downloadable from the site?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that I'm on the right account cuz I had BF2 & RC up there at the same time once and now RC is gone but BF2 is still up.

@501st_commander: It still shows that I bought it but I dunno about the downloadable.

Have you tried redownloading it again to see if it's still gonna charge you?

I dunno where to redownload it.

Just search for it on Steam. It's on there.

And if you can't redownload it, contact Steam and ask them.
