I personally am not sure, but they really don't matter much. Nobody really judges anyone by rank here, unless that rank is Orange or Blue.

one question to maveritchell: ¨does the blue one mean GT staff? or the orange one? i think everyone here on gametoast have their nicknames in orange colour... what does all the colours mean?

orange?
white? (is the white colour used BTW?)
Green?
Red? (only for guru?)
Blue?

do you know what they means?

Orange is for Admins, blue is Moderators, red is Super Special Awesome Jawas (guru), green is Old School Staff (staff that aren't active as mods/admins anymore), and white is for normal users.

Orange- Admin
White- Normal Member
Green- Staff Member that hasn't been on in a long time
Red- Guru
Blue- Moderator

Of course, the colors may change depending on the theme. If you use the SWGT theme, not only does GT look best, but the colors I just listed correspond to names correctly. I don't remember, I haven't used any other theme since Penguin made this one.
