Recommended SWBF1 mods, maps, troopers(SWBF1 version)

Hi, new to the community, and was liking if you guys would help me find some good mods, maps, trooper models and skins to download and find. Specficly im looking for the famous ones, like a tatooine dune maps, citys, plains, ones from other games etc.
also a small discription on how to install the mods

Well i have one map of Tatooine (made by me) but its not released yet :s

also woundering if the battlefront distant characters can be fixed? i have yet to install battlefront 2, but i think thats in it aswell.

You mean when some of the troopers go too far away from you they switch to lowrez models?If you mean this,no as far as i know this is not possible,even when you change the lowrez model with highrez still won't work.
